• Wynberg-Allen believes that one of the primary responsibilities of any educational institution is to teach its students the importance of being empathetic and compassionate. The need to give back to the community and to work towards improving the lot of the underprivileged sections of society is constantly stressed on.

          • Eco Society

          • The Economics or Eco Society of the school identifies groups of people or individuals in need. It supports them by raising funds and distributing essential commodities. One of the major projects of this society has been to bear the complete cost of acquiring a prosthetic limb for a balloon seller who lost his leg in a cylinder blast. The members of the society also assisted him in finding suitable employment so that he could support his family. The society also supports Nautha, a small village in the Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Helping to build walls and installing a roof and windows for a hospital for burn victims is another of the many projects that the Eco Society has been involved with.

          • Behtar Tomorrow

          • In its endeavour to support the United Nations in achieving the sustainable development goal of making learning opportunities accessible to all, the school runs a Behtar Tomorrow programme. The student volunteers who run this programme have been helping underprivileged students to recover from the learning deficit that occurred during the Covid lockdown. These students tutor economically disadvantaged children and help them to improve their basic literacy skills.

          • Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

          • In addition to running the Behtar Tomorrow programme, the school also works towards promoting and achieving sustainable development goals by ensuring that the students understand the need to reduce their carbon footprints, use energy responsibly, and avoid wasting food.
